So what’s it all about, and how much is it going to cost? Well let's outline what’s involved. Set in a small village in the South of France near Carcassonne you will find a beautifully renovated stone barn. Lovingly restored with some wonderful and unique features. The barn is adjoined to the main house and shares the walled gardens and swimming pool.
On entering the main arched door barn you will step into a large comfortable living area with its unique arch beam support, with incorporated fountain. The traditional fireplace combined with modern equipment fuses together to form a perfect partnership of old and new. The area is capable of comfortably catering for ten to fifteen people and can be transformed into an indoors photographic studio. The staircase is made of local stone and hand crated ironwork and makes a great location for those classical gone with the wind shoots. Adjoining the main living space is a large kitchen / dining area.
As you take a walk up the illuminated staircase you will see some of the unique features of the building namely the stone compass and the cross of the Aude, which never fail to impress. This is just a taster of the building, believe me there is lots more! So what’s going to take place……… Well, firstly you will need to get your goodselves to Stanstead airport and take a Ryan air flight to Carcassonne Airport, sadly we can not include that in the price but would be happy to assist you if you wish? You will be collected at the airport and driven to the location. On arrival you will be greeted with a champagne reception and a light snack. You will get to meet the other guests, as this is a small(ish) gathering, we are hoping to encourage a maximum of ten girls for the event. You will be shown around the establishment and made to feel at home. On the Friday evening there will be a chance to dress to impress as the evening meal will take place around 8pm giving you sufficient time to relax before the festivity. All the food and wine is included in the price. The Saturday will be a great chance to try as many looks as you wish as its an all day photo session inside and or out if possible. So after your breakfast prepare yourself for an active day. There will be a makeup class running prior to the photo session, and we will be providing additional clothing, shoes, and wigs well quite a few things actually. With Leah behind the lens were confident you will get many fantastic pics to cherish. There will be snacks and wine available throughout the day. A table has been booked for the Saturday evening (this will have to be paid for on the evening) at a local restaurant giving everyone the chance to experience local dishes and practice their French should they wish. Sunday will be a lazy breakfast and catch-up before departing for the afternoon flight. The cost of this unique experience is £500 per person for a shared room or £600 per person in they have the room to themselves.
